28. Februar 1939 in Takoma Park, Maryland; † 22. Februar 2001 in Salem, Oregon) war ein US-amerikanischer Fingerstyle-Gitarrist und -Komponist, Musikwissenschaftler und Plattenlabel-Gründer.

Fahey wuchs mit Klassik und Country auf und begann sich in den 50er Jahren mit moderner Klassik sowie Vorkriegsblues zu beschäftigen. 1959 veröffentlichte er erste Aufnahmen auf seinem eigenen Label, „Takoma Records“, unter dem Pseudonym „Blind Joe Death“. Read more on Last.fm
