Mad Professor, bürgerlich Neil Fraser ist ein Musikproduzent und eine einflussreiche Persönlichkeit in der Entwicklung des Reggae und des Dub. Neil Fraser stammt gebürtig aus Guyana, lebt und arbeitet jedoch seit Jahrzehnten in London.

Er veröffentlichte seit 1982 über 30 Alben und gilt als einer der wichtigsten Produzenten in der 2. Generation des Dub-Reggae. Mit zwei Alben pro Jahr ist er ungewöhnlich produktiv.
