war ein US-amerikanischer Blues-Musiker.

Bereits als Kind erhielt er den Spitznamen "Howlin' Wolf". Sein Vorbild war Charley Patton. Er spielte Gitarre und Mundharmonika. 1951 nahm Howlin' Wolf seine erste Platte auf. Er spielte unter anderem mit Willie Johnson und Hubert Sumlin. Zu seinen Hits zählen "Evil", "Smokestack Lightnin'", "I Ain't Superstitious" und "Back Door Man". Read more on Last.fm
