Owl City ist ein US-amerikanisches Synthie-Pop-Musikprojekt. Es besteht aus Adam Young, der sich und seine Live- Band als „Owl City“ bezeichnet – benannt nach seiner Heimatstadt Owatonna in Minnesota. Young fing im Keller seiner Eltern an Musik zu machen, was, wie er sagt, ein Ergebnis seiner Schlaflosigkeit war.
