Falls of Rauros wurde 2005 in Coastal Maine gegründet und begann als Zweier, improvisierte und schrieb flüchtig, was zu den Demos „Window of the Eye“ und „Into the Archaic“ wurde. Mit der Gründung expandierte die Band zu einem Quartett und ist es bis heute geblieben.
