Icon of Coil ist das Futurepop-Projekt von Andy La Plegua (Norwegen), welches 1997 gegründet wurde. Andy gab vor der Gründung von Icon of Coil schon bei der Metal/Hardcore-Band "My Right Choice" seine Gesanglichen Künste zum besten. Sein Freund Sebastian Komor half ihn bei seinen ersten Live-Autritten seiner Band und wurde nach Veröffentlichung der "Shallow Nation"-Single im Jahre 2000 ein festes Mitglied von Icon of Coil.
