THE ASCENT OF EVEREST is a post rock band formed in Tennessee in 2005 by Devin Lamp (guitar, vocals), Keller McDivitt (guitar), Drew Binkley (bass), Casey Kaufman (cello, strings), Dillon Smith (violin, strings), Chris Click (piano) and Michael Thurmon (drums, percussion). In 2006 they self-released their debut entitled "How Lonely Sits the City" and since the release the band embarked on an extensive tour to support Read more on Last.fm
