Ike & Tina Turner war in den 1960er und Anfang der 1970er Jahre ein musikalisches Duo, bestehend aus Ike Turner und Tina Turner. Sie spielten vorwiegend Rock ’n’ Roll, Blues, Funk und Soul und tourten zusammen mit ihrer Band nahezu durchgehend bis 1975.

Sie waren dreimal für einen Grammy Award nominiert, mit ihrer Cover-Version von Proud Mary gewannen sie 1972 in der Kategorie Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Group. 1991, 15 Jahre nach der Trennung, wurde das Duo in der Rock and Roll Hall of Fame verewigt. Read more on Last.fm
