Marc Almond (* 9. Juli 1957 in Southport, Lancashire) ist ein britischer Sänger und Songwriter.

Werdegang

Zusammen mit David Ball gründete er im September 1980 die Musikgruppe Soft Cell, das erste erfolgreiche Elektro-Duo Großbritanniens. Zu ihren großen Erfolgen gehört u. a. Tainted Love (1981). Die erste Single Memorabilia 1981 gilt als die erste Techno-Single überhaupt.
