Erasure (zu deutsch: ‚Löschung‘, ‚Tilgung‘, ‚Ausradierung‘) ist ein britisches Synthie-Pop-Duo, bestehend aus Vince Clarke und Andy Bell. Vince Clarke ist ein Synthesizer- und Sequenzer-Spezialist, der als Gründungsmitglied von Depeche Mode deren erste Hits komponierte („New Life“, „Just Can't Get Enough“). Bereits Ende 1981 verließ Clarke Depeche Mode wegen musikalischer Differenzen, um dann 1982 für eine kurze erfolgreiche Zeit mit Alison Moyet zum Duo Yazoo zusammenzufinden. Read more on Last.fm
