Belle and Sebastian ist eine schottische Pop-Band. Der Bandname bezieht sich auf das Kinderbuch Belle et Sébastien der französischen Autorin Cécile Aubry über den Jungen Sébastien und seinen Hund Belle. Das Buch wurde 1965 als französische Fernsehserie und 1981 als japanischer Anime verfilmt.

Bandgeschichte
