Icehouse ist eine australische Rockband.

Gegründet wurden Icehouse 1980 von Iva Davies und Keith Welsh. Von 1977 bis 1980 tourten sie unter dem Namen "Flowers" durch australische Clubs. Als sie 1980 ihr erstes Album "Icehouse" veröffentlicht hatten und danach 1981 durch die USA tourten, änderten sie den Namen in "Icehouse".

Iva Davies ist die treibende Kraft hinter Icehouse und das einzige Mitglied der Ursprungsbesetzung, das heute noch in der Band verblieben ist. Read more on Last.fm
