Prince and The Revolution:

The Revolution war die Begleitband des US-amerikanischen Musikers Prince im Zeitraum von 1983 bis 1986.

Als Live-Debüt von The Revolution kann das Konzert am 3. August 1983 im Musikclub First Avenue in Minneapolis angesehen werden. Damals gab Prince ein Benefiz-Konzert für das Minnesota Dance Theatre, und Wendy Melvoin spielte zum ersten Mal live in seiner Band mit. Sie ersetzte Gitarrist Dez Dickerson, der Mitte Mai 1983 die vorherige Band von Prince verlassen hatte. Read more on Last.fm
