Cire was founded by Eric Johanson (also of Emptyself) in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA) around 2000. Over the 7 years and 3 albums Cire has been known to appear with different members, all now alleged to be part of a shadowy network plotting to undermine our defenses against reality. The most recently identified was "drummer" Chris O'Guinn, who was complicit in the making of Cire's newest release, Wholesale Buyout (11/2006) which has been releasead in online format only.
