Brian Transeau (* 4. Oktober 1971 in Rockville, Maryland, USA als Brian Wayne Transeau) ist ein Musiker, der unter seinem Künstlernamen BT produziert. Er genoss seit seinem 13. Lebensjahr eine klassische Musikausbildung und ging in Boston auf die „Berkeley School of Music“, die er nach einem Jahr verließ, um anschließend nach Los Angeles und wieder zurück nach Washington D.C. zu ziehen.
