The Hillbilly Moon Explosion sind in den Neunzigern aus zwei Bands entstanden: The Hillbilly Headhunters und MD Moon. 1998 nahm die neue Formation ihr erstes Demo auf. Unterdessen sind schon zwei Alben die Sihl runter getuckert.
