Delbert McClinton, geb. am 04.11.1940 in Lubbock/Texas, USA, wuchs in Fort Worth, Texas, auf. Dort begann der High School-Schüler das Gitarrespielen und erprobte sich in Bands wie The Mellow Fellows, The Losers oder The Bright Side, bevor er schließlich mit den Straitjackets seine eigene Band gründete, die Anfang der 60er Jahre als Hausband im Blues Club "Jack's Place" spielte. Parallel dazu wechselte McClinton das Instrument und spielte jetzt Mundharmonika anstatt Gitarre. Read more on Last.fm
