The Hellacopters war eine schwedische Band, die schnellen Hardrock spielte. Die Hellacopters gelten als eine wichtige „neue“ Rock-Band Skandinaviens. Sie stellen neben Gluecifer, Turbonegro und den Backyard Babies den 4. Pfeiler des Mitte der 90er Jahre losgebrochenen Skandinavien-Rocks dar.
