Skillet ist eine christliche Rockband aus Memphis (Tennesee/USA), die sich dort Mitte der 90er gründete. Die Spannweite ihres Musikstil reicht von Grunge bis hin zu Electronic, von Nu Metal bis hin zu Alternative Rock. Skillet wurde stark von den Bands Mortal und Fold Zandura geprägt.
