Dj Tiësto (* 17. Januar 1969 in Breda; bürgerlicher Name Tijs Verwest) ist ein niederländischer Trance-DJ und -Produzent.

Tijs begann sich schon als Achtjähriger fürs DJing zu interessieren. In seiner Jugend dann legte er als Resident DJ des kleinen Clubs Spock in Breda auf, wo er von Trendscouts aus Rotterdam entdeckt wurde.
Ab Mitte der 1990er-Jahre veröffentlichte er selbst produzierte Tracks unter verschiedenen Künstlernamen und bei verschiedenen Labels. Read more on Last.fm
