The Ordinary Boys sind eine englische Britpop-Band aus Worthing. Zunächst nannten sie sich Next In Line. Sie haben ihre Einflüsse hauptsächlich von Mod Revival, Britpop und anderen erwähnenswerten Bands der 1980er Jahre, wie The Specials, Morrissey und The Smiths; so stammt ihr Name ursprünglich aus einem Morrissey-Song. Trotz ihres anfänglich mäßigen Erfolgs in den britischen Charts hat ihre Popularität zugenommen, besonders durch die Medienpräsenz des Leadsängers Samuel Preston, der an der Show Celebrity Big Brother (UK) teilnahm.
