Swallow The Sun ist eine finnische Melodic Death Doom Metal-Band aus Jyväskylä. Ihre Musik ist sehr atmosphärisch und besitzt ein stark variierendes Tempo.

Swallow The Sun wurde im Herbst 2000 von Juha Raivio gegründet. Bald trat auch Pasi Pasanen der Band bei, denn die beiden kannten sich bereits aus der Band "Plutionium Orange". Im Jahr 2001 kamen Markus Jämsen als zweiter Gitarrist und Mikko Kotamäki als Sänger hinzu. Keyboarder Aleksi Munter und Bassspieler Matti Honkonen ergänzten die Band. Read more on Last.fm
