Peter Tosh (* 19. Oktober 1944 in Grange Hill, Jamaika; † 11. September 1987 in Kingston; eigentlich Winston Hubert McIntosh) war ein jamaikanischer Sänger. Er war Gründungsmitglied der Roots-Reggae-Band The Wailers (später Bob Marley and The Wailers) und deren fester Bestandteil von 1963 bis 1974. In seinen Liedern, zumeist politisch oder religiös, besang er die fehlende Gleichberechtigung der Schwarzen, und seinen Glauben, den Rastafarianismus. Tosh wurde 1987 ermordet. Read more on Last.fm
