Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) ist eine 1997 in Palm Desert von Josh Homme gegründete Band, die sich grob der Alternative- bzw. der Stoner Rock Szene zurechnen lässt. Jedoch variiert ihr Sound so stark, dass eine genaue Einordnung in ein Genre nicht möglich ist. Einziges ständiges Bandmitglied ist Josh Homme.
