David Byrne (* 14. Mai 1952 in Dumbarton, Schottland) ist ein in den USA lebender britischer Musiker (Gesang und Gitarre). 1975 gründete er die Popgruppe Talking Heads mit und wurde bekannt als deren Frontmann.

David Byrne kam im Alter von vier Jahren mit seinen Eltern in die USA, nahm jedoch nie die US-Staatsbürgerschaft an.
