Children of Bodom war eine 1993 in Espoo, Finnland, gegründete Melodic Death Metal-Band. Die Band wurde zunächst unter dem Namen Inearthed gegründet. Gründungsmitglieder waren der Gitarrist Alexi Laiho (* 8. April 1979 +29. Dezember 2020), der Schlagzeuger Jaska Raatikainen (* 18. Juli 1979) und der damalige Bassist Samuli Miettinen. Die drei Musiker verband ihr gemeinsames Interesse für Heavy Metal und Bands wie zum Beispiel W.A.S.P., Manowar, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Slayer oder Hypocrisy. Read more on Last.fm
