The Pretty Things ist eine der ältesten noch aktiven englischen Rockbands. In den 1960er Jahren galt sie als eine der wildesten Bands. Rockgeschichte schrieben The Pretty Things 1968 als Urheber der vermutlich ersten Rockoper, S. F. Sorrow.

Geschichte

Die Band The Pretty Things wurde 1963 von dem Gitarristen Dick Taylor, einem ehemaligen Mitglied der Rolling Stones und dem Sänger Phil May in London gegründet.
