Melanie Jayne Chisholm, bekannt als Melanie C oder Mel C (* 12. Januar 1974 in Liverpool) ist eine britische Sängerin, die durch ihre Mitgliedschaft bei der Band Spice Girls berühmt wurde. Dort war sie sowohl als Mel C als auch Sporty Spice bekannt, weil sie bei Auftritten zuständig für Flickflacks und ähnliche sportliche Kunststücke war. Im Jahr 1998 begann sie als Melanie C eine erfolgreiche Solo-Karriere.
