Barry Manilow (* 17. Juni 1943 in Brooklyn; gebürtig Barry Alan Pincus) ist ein US-amerikanischer Sänger.

Manilow wurde als Barry Alan Pincus in Brooklyn geboren. Als er zwei Jahre alt war, verließ der Vater die Familie und er nahm den Mädchennamen der Mutter Edna an. Er lernte Klavier spielen und wurde später der Pianist und Arrangeur von Bette Midler. Gemeinsam hatten sie ihre ersten Erfolge mit Bühnenshows in Night Clubs in New York. Er produzierte 1972 auch das erste Album von Bette Midler. Read more on Last.fm
