Robert Joseph „Bobby“ Bare (* 7. April 1935 in Ironton, Ohio) ist ein US-amerikanischer Country-Sänger und -Songwriter.


Als Bare fünf Jahre alt war, starb seine Mutter, und seine Schwester wurde zur Adoption freigegeben. Sein Vater verdiente zu wenig, um seine Familie zu ernähren. Schon mit 15 Jahren sorgte Bobby selbst für seinen Unterhalt. Er arbeitete zunächst als Farmhelfer, später in verschiedenen Fabriken und nahm auch Gelegenheitsjobs an. Read more on Last.fm
