Ancient Wisdom ist eine schwedische Atmospheric-Doom/Black-Metal-Band, die 1992 von Marcus E. Norman gegründet wurde, der seines Zeichens Sänger und Gitarrist von Bewitched ist. Grade auf den jüngeren Veröffentlichungen von Ancient Wisdom spielt Marcus Norman nahezu alle Instrumente selbst.

Der Stil ist schleppender Black-Metal, manchmal doomig, mit symphonischen Anteilen(hauptsächlich Streicher/Piano) und teilweise sehr melodiös gespielt. Der Gesang ist sehr stark guttural und prägnant. Read more on Last.fm
