David Warren „Dave“ Brubeck (* 6. Dezember 1920 in Concord, Kalifornien; † 5. Dezember 2012 in Norwalk, Connecticut) war ein US-amerikanischer Jazz-Pianist, Bandleader und zählte zu den herausragenden Vertretern des Cool Jazz.
Er komponierte Jazz-Standards wie "In Your Own Sweet Way". Sein Stil reicht von "kultiviert" und "subtil" bis "bombastisch" und offenbart sowohl seine klassische Ausbildung durch seine Mutter als auch seine improvisatorischen Fähigkeiten. Read more on Last.fm
