Porter Wayne Wagoner (* 12. August 1927 in West Plains, Missouri; † 28. Oktober 2007 in Nashville) war ein US-amerikanischer Country-Sänger.


Porter Wagoner wuchs mit seinen Geschwistern in ärmlichen Verhältnissen auf einer Farm in den Ozark Mountains auf. Die Familie hörte zu meist am Wochenende Countrysender im Radio, am Samstag regelmäßig die Grand Ole Opry aus Nashville.
