John Haley "Zoot" Sims (* 29. Oktober 1925 in Inglewood/Kalifornien; † 23. März 1985 in New York City) war ein US-amerikanischer Jazz-Saxophonist.

Sims wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie auf, sein älterer Bruder ist der Posaunist Ray Sims. Er selbst lernte Schlagzeug und Klarinette zu spielen, im Alter von dreizehn Jahren wechselte er zum Tenorsaxophon. Seine ersten professionellen Auftritte hatte er im Alter von fünfzehn Jahren als Mitglied des Bobby Sherwood Orchestra. Read more on Last.fm
