Die Adolescents sind eine 1980 gegründete US-amerikanische Punkband aus Fullerton, Kalifornien, Vereinigte Staaten. Mit ihrer Mischung aus Punkrock und Hardcore wurde ihre selbstbenannte erste LP "Adolescents" ein Klassiker des kalifornischen Punkrocks. Auffällig waren besonders die mehrstimmigen Backupvocals. Das Album ist bis heute eine Inspiration für viele Punkbands.

Nachdem sich die Adolescents Ende der 80er Jahre auflösten, fanden sie sich zu Beginn des neuen Jahrtausends wieder zusammen, um Konzerte zu spielen. Read more on Last.fm
