Exodus ist eine US-amerikanische Thrash Metal-Band aus der Bay Area in Kalifornien. Die Band wurde im Jahre 1981 gegründet und steht bei Nuclear Blast unter Vertrag. Die Diskografie der Band umfasst zehn Studioalben. Inoffiziell gelten Exodus als die Erfinder dieser Stilrichtung und inspirierten Bands wie Death Angel, Testament und Vio-lence.
