Lucinda Gayle Williams (* 26. Januar 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana) ist eine US-amerikanische Roots-Rock- und Country-Musikerin. Erst 20 Jahre nach ihrem Debüt gelang ihr 1998 mit dem Album "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" der kommerzielle Durchbruch. Heute gehört sie zu den bekanntesten Vertreterinnen der Musikrichtung. 2002 wurde sie vom Time Magazine zur besten Songwriterin in den USA gewählt.
