Led Zeppelin war eine englische Rockband. 1968 gegründet, gehört sie mit 300 Millionen verkauften Alben zu den erfolgreichsten Bands überhaupt. Der Tod des Schlagzeugers John Bonham im September 1980 markierte das Ende der Band, die mit Sänger Robert Plant, Gitarrist Jimmy Page und Bassist John Paul Jones durchgehend in gleicher Besetzung aktiv war. Musikalisch gehörte Led Zeppelin zu den Pionieren des Hard Rock, Blues Rock, Progressive Rock sowie des aufkeimenden Heavy Metal, verarbeitete aber auch Einflüsse der Folkmusik. Read more on Last.fm
