Robert «Bobby» Hutcherson (* 27.01.1941 in Los Angeles, Cal./USA) ist ein US-Amerikanischer Jazz-Vibraphonist, Xylophon- und Marimbaspieler.

Bobby lernte mit 9 Jahren Klavierspielen und wechselte mit 15, als er eine Platte The Giants of Jazz von Milt Jackson, der dort zusammen mit Miles Davis und Thelonius Monk spielte, hörte, zum Vibraphon. Mit 21 spielte er gemeinsam mit Don Cherry und Charles Lloyd und nahm seine erste Platte unter Curtis Amy auf. Read more on Last.fm
