Randy Crawford (* 18. Februar 1952 als Veronica Crawford in Macon, Georgia, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Jazz- und Soulsängerin. Sie gehört neben Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin und Dee Dee Bridgewater zu den erfolgreichsten dieses Genres.

Entdeckt wurde sie, als sie in ihrem Kirchenchor durch ihre ausdrucksstarke Stimme auffiel. Schon als Jugendliche nahm ihr Vater Randy sie mit auf Tournee durch die USA und Europa, wo sie schon bei ihren ersten Live-Auftritten in Clubs Aufsehen erregte. Read more on Last.fm
