Peter, Paul and Mary ist eine der erfolgreichsten Folk-Gruppen der 1960er Jahre. Das Trio bestand aus Peter Yarrow, Noel "Paul" Stookey und Mary Travers.

Die Gruppe wurde von dem Impresario Albert Grossman ins Leben gerufen. Er wollte eine Folk-"Supergruppe" schaffen, indem er "eine große Blonde" (Travers), "einen komischen Kerl" (Stookey) und einen "gutaussehenden Kerl" (Yarrow) zusammenbrachte.
