Overkill ist eine US-amerikanische Thrash Metal-Band aus dem Großraum New York, die von Bassist D. D. Verni, Schlagzeuger „Rat“ Skates und Sänger Bobby „Blitz“ Ellsworth 1980 gegründet wurde. Overkill wurde 1980 von D. D. Verni und Rat Skates (bürgerlich Carlo Verni und Lee Kundrat) gegründet. Bobby Ellsworth, zu dieser Zeit eigentlich Bassist, stieß zu der Band als Sänger hinzu und brachte gleichzeitig einen Gitarristen mit in die Band. Read more on Last.fm
