The Maccabees sind eine Indie-Rock Band aus Brighton, England, die mit der EP You Make Noise, I Make Sandwiches 2004 debütierte und seitdem eine große Fangemeinde aufweisen kann. Die Singles X-Ray und Latchmere trugen weiter dazu bei und so schlossen sie auch einen Deal mit dem Polydor Indie Label Fiction Records.
Am 14.Mai 2007 erschien dort das Debütalbum Colour It In, welches die Singles First Love, About Your Dress, Precious Time und Toothpaste Kisses enthielt. Read more on Last.fm
