The Kings of Frog Island is a stoner, rock 3-Piece band drawing from Psychedelic, Stoner, and Retro Rock traditions. TKOFI formed in Leicester, England (hence Frog Island) in 2003, as a collaboration between Mat Bethancourt, of the rock bands Josiah and The Beginning along with R. "Dodge" Watson, a founding member of the grunge/punk group Scum Pups and Mark Buteux. The band released their debut, self titled Album with German-based Elektrohasch Records in 2005.
