Jay Sean (* 26. März, 1982 in Southall, London als Kamaljit Jhooti), ist ein britisch-asiatischer R&B-Sänger.
Kamaljit Jhooti wuchs in dem Londoner Stadtbezirk Hounslow auf, der sich in der Nähe des Flughafens Heathrow befindet.

Im Alter von 14 Jahren begann er in einer Rap/Punk-Gruppe namens „Compulsive Disorder“ zu rappen, die später die Aufmerksamkeit lokaler Radiostationen gewann. Einziges Hindernis für Jay Sean war die größere Aufmerksamkeit die seiner Nationalität zukam anstatt seiner Musik. Read more on Last.fm
