Yusuf Islam (* 21. Juli 1948 in London, als Steven Demetre Georgiou) ist ein britisch-zypriotischer Sänger und Songwriter, der unter dem Künstlernamen Cat Stevens bekannt wurde. In der Folge seines Übertritts zum Islam Ende 1977 änderte er seinen Namen in Yusuf Islam, als Künstler nennt er sich heute nur Yusuf.
