1985, Cologne: Foundation of the band Pink Turns Blue with Tom Elbern (vocals and guitars) Mic Jogwer (vocals and bass) and Marcus Giltjes (drums). Mic was studying bass guitar at the Jazz-Seminary of the Musikhochschule Köln when he was excited to find Tom making music just as it came out of his heart and as it matched the Zeitgeist of the late 80s post punk and indie movement.
