Die Gruppe Santana, auch als die Santana Blues Band bekannt, ist eine in ihrer personellen Zusammensetzung sehr von Wechseln geprägte Gruppe, die seit dem Ende der 1960er Jahre mit dem Gitarristen und Sänger Carlos Santana gespielt und sich zusammen mit ihm um die Verbreitung des Latin Rock verdient gemacht hat.
Die Band wurde 1966 in San Francisco gegründet, zur ersten Formation gehörten Tom Frazier (Gitarre), Mike Carabello (Percussion), Rod Harper (Schlagzeug), Gus Rodriguez (Bassgitarre) und Gregg Rolie (Orgel, Gesang). Read more on Last.fm
