Tim Buckley
Timothy Charles Buckley III (* 14. Februar 1947 in Washington D.C.; † 29. Juni 1975) war ein Singer/Songwriter aus den USA. Er begann als Folksänger, entwickelte jedoch seinen Gesang und seine Musik immer mehr in Richtung Jazz und Experimentalmusik.
Im Alter von fünf Jahren hat er seine erste Begegnung mit modernem Jazz, denn seine Mutter ist ein Miles Davis-Fan. 1952 zieht die Familie nach Bell Gardens in Kalifornien.
