Bryan Guy Adams, OC, OBC (* 5. November 1959 in Kingston, Ontario) ist ein kanadischer Rock-Sänger, -Komponist und Fotograf. Seit 1983 erreichte Adams in über 30 Ländern Nummer-eins-Platzierungen in den Charts. Privatleben Geboren wurde Bryan Adams als Sohn britischer Eltern. Sein Vater Conrad J. Adams war im militärischen Diplomatendienst tätig, seine Mutter Elisabeth Jane Adams arbeitete als Lehrerin und Bibliothekarin. Aufgrund des Berufs des Vaters musste die Familie häufig ihren Wohnort wechseln; so lebten sie beispielsweise in Israel und Österreich und von 1967 bis 1971 in Portugal.
